About EPCScore

EPCScore provides free access to aggregated Energy Performance Certificate data for England and Wales. Our aim is to make energy efficiency information easy to find, understand and compare across different areas.

Our Data

All data is sourced from the Ministry of Housing, Communities & Local Government (MHCLG) Open Data Communities portal. This contains public sector information licensed under the Open Government Licence v3.0.

We aggregate millions of individual EPC records to provide area-level statistics including average ratings, energy costs, property types and trends over time. Individual property data is not displayed — only aggregated, anonymised statistics.
